Design an ETA Prediction Service

ETA is one of the most rider-visible features at Uber and DoorDash. A poor ETA destroys trust. Uber's ETA system combines real-time traffic, historical segment speeds, ML inference, and a routing engine (based on OpenStreetMap). It handles hundreds of thousands of ETA queries per second globally.
